The live music was top notch, band members and the DJ were all extremely talented and professional.  The guests danced the night away with their music and everyone had nothing but good things to say about the band!  Heather and the Band went out of their way to make our event the best it could be and they know how to entertain at a party!  Heather is a pleasure to work with, from the first inquiry of booking the event until the last song of the night she was responsive and present every step of the way.  I always knew she had things taken care of and understood the importance of making our event to be great for our employees.  I highly recommend Heather and The Tin Roof Band along with Pinnacle Group Media for your next event, they are amazing!

I had the pleasure of touring with the Petero family and attending Heather Petero’s gospel concert in Ballintra Methodist, County Donegal during the family’s first visit to Ireland..This was no ordinary church concert and certainly not what I expected. Like so many others, I sat in the back.I was prepared to do my usual prayers, reflections.and to listen, to bow my head,to sit quietly, and hear some hymns. Heather, her husband Pastor Glenn, their truly lovely son, Seth, along with pastor John who brought the congregation on a spiritual journey. It was truly an experience that I will never forget .She started with “Can I hear an Amen” We responded with murmurs of Amen,She called again for an Amen and began to sing her deeply moving hymns. This was not an evening for nodding off in the pew. This was a celebration in every sense of the word. You could not help but join in and move and sing.I watched the straightest of backs, relax.I saw spirits being lifted and moved, as we joined in. Heather sang a Marvin Gaye song–who knew it was an uplifting gospel song?.So many of us,myself included, have accepted the disconnection from each other during Covid 19.This was an evening to reconnect. To join in,celebrate that we are still here, and the message was and is simple. Let’s just start talking to each other. It was a beautiful evening full of joy, praise and powerful songs. Everyone I know is rushing to get back to normal, relieved to be back to where they were, before so much loss.Anxiety caused by the uncertainty of what’s coming next.We need that feeling we belong, that is found in a spiritual connection.Thank you for such a wonderful evening,I sang my way back to my hotel in gratitude..”can I hear an Amen!”❤️

“An unexpected gift from Atlanta, Georgia”

I am not always a fan of unsolicited mail or email or messenger mail, but on 9th January this year there was an exception.  Heather Petero reached out to offer us a free concert of worship songs.  What an opportunity for our small circuit in South Donegal (the origin of Glenn’s maternal grandmother)!  What a privilege to host Heather (and Glenn and Seth).  So, the planning with messages going back and forth on messenger and email and a Zoom call; the date was set – 26th May 2023; the venue was decided – Ballintra Methodist Church, Donegal; sound equipment was arranged or transported.  The Peteros travelled to Ireland on 23rd May and arrived in Donegal Town on Thursday 25th having visited more historic landmarks and sites in the two days they had been here than most Irish people do in a year. Posters had been posted for about 6 weeks; Facebook and WhatsApp notices had been sent and finally, the day of the concert had arrived.  We enjoyed spending time with the Peteros as a family, eating together, showing off the marvellous Murvagh beach, and just hanging out – our shared faith that unites us despite thousands of miles between us.

To Ballintra; we gathered in, with folks who had travelled from as far as Ardara (45 minutes).  We sound checked – or rather Heather did.  We welcomed people.  The buzz was good.  We prayed in a little huddle at the front of the church.  We welcomed the Holy Spirit – for no matter how many people arrived His presence was all we needed.

We began a little late (not unusual for Donegal) and Heather, within minutes, had the congregation singing with her – a song that wasn’t known to them, ‘My God, my King, my Saviour, my everything.’  We sang songs from days long gone and songs written within the last 10 years.  Heather sang songs that made you contemplate their words – even if the songs were already well known.  Heather worshipped God and so we worshipped God.  She shared stories and how God has shaped her life and held her through it – highs and lows.  Glenn told us a funny story about how great a fisherman he was –sort of– and urged us to just try sharing the Gospel; i) know that Jesus saved you, ii) tell of how it happened for you.  We learned a little of the work of Phakisima (a partner project of Methodist World Development and Relief).  We met with the Spirit.  When Heather asked if she could sing one more for us, the answer came back, “Two;” we got 3.  Everyone there I spoke with really enjoyed the night – people were still talking about it on the next Sunday.  Nights like this don’t happen in Ballintra that often – it was well overdue and a joy to be at.  Thank you, Heather, for sure; but thank you, Lord, for meeting with us and inspiring your servant to share her gift with us in South Donegal.  To God be the glory.  Amen.

Heather embodies the essence of a music instructor as an encourager, a coach and a mentor. As one of our talent show judges, Heather did an excellent job recognizing and acknowledging the wonderful aspects of each performance as well as inspiring each performer to continue to pursuing their music passion. Heather values her work with a deeper understanding that music is a transformational opportunity for a child. Having someone who believes in them and will speak life into their dreams, will make an lasting impact. Thank you for supporting our mission and vision to positively impact the lives of foster and adopted children.

Heather did such a great job custom designing a worship experience for our Good Friday service.  Once again, Heather showed her creativity and versatility in choosing music and crafting an order of worship that was just right for the occasion.  She was so professional planning ahead months before the service, coordinating with various church staff leading up to the service, arriving on time, and leading the service.  Her singing and piano playing were exceptional, and she chose just the right musicians to accompany her in the service.  Everyone who attended the service–both in person and online–were blessed to remember the day Christ gave himself for us on the cross.  We really appreciate the way Heather uses her talent to serve and glorify God in the Church.

On Behalf of White UMC (and particularly, the choir!) we would like to give a big THANK YOU  to Heather Petero. Her worship leadership  and her help to our choir, is and contains, immeasurable inspiration.  We look forward to her continued vocal assistance, but moreover her special and fervent spirit she so generously shares with others.  May God Bless you with abundance, Heather!

–Rev. Larry Russell, UMC Pastor

What a delight to welcome Heather to our worship service!  She stepped right in when we needed a lead voice and led the congregation in singing and also provided excellent music for reflection during our service.  Her music was right on theme, and she fit right into our leadership team! Thank you, Heather!

Heather played piano for our wedding and she made every effort to play what we wanted and the ceremony was all the more beautiful with what she played. Heather was easy to work with and communicated with us every step of the way! It was such a pleasure working with her.

Ms. Petero’s presence was nothing short of elegant. From music choice, to consideration for the space, we felt comfortable with her managing her time at the event and entertaining guests. she made no decisions without consulting us for preference first, but of course her choices were impeccable, especially in her music choices. Her stage presence is diplomatic and discreet, she shows attention to lighting and detail, stage presence, and of course the most important aspect of all – her music playing is effortless. We would not hesitate to invite Heather Petero to perform at our events again in the future.

I took piano lessons at Heather Petero Studios with Mrs. Heather for 5 years, and I absolutely loved my time there! I started out with almost no prior musical knowledge, and at the end of my 5 years with Mrs. Heather I was playing intermediate-advanced levels of all styles of music, though classical was my favorite. I also completed advanced levels of music theory with instruction from Mrs. Heather. I highly recommend taking lessons at Heather Petero Studios because Mrs. Heather will help bring out the best of your musical talents.

I was a student of five years, and I grew so much in that time, not only as a singer but as a person. I learned such valuable lifelong skills that I otherwise would not have learned. Mrs Heather is truly a treasure. She makes an effort everyday and begins each lesson with a smile, no matter how her day has gone. She cares, she’s an amazing friend, and I have never wondered about her being there for me because she’s one of the most dependable and loving people in my life. Her positive energy is so contagious; it’s obvious that she loves her job and her students. She’s so patient with her students. Anyone aiming to learn voice or piano would be lucky to learn from this amazing woman. It’s an amazing community, an extremely nice studio, and the best teacher I could ever have asked for.–

Heather Petero is the gold standard in professionalism. You cannot throw this girl a curve ball. She responded promptly to our last minute request to play at our out of state wedding. Unfortunately, I hadn’t put much thought into the music portion of my ceremony. Heather flawlessly guided us in song selection while keeping in mind our style, wants and needs. You can tell she is very versed in her craft. After arriving at the venue, the audio set-up was not available for her as promised. She handled it all without worrying myself or the groom. Her voice and musicianship is second to none. The comments about her playing prior to the ceremony, during the ceremony and during the reception were glowing.

I can’t thank her enough for helping make our fairy tale wedding more perfect.

“I just want to take a moment and brag about Mrs Heather Petero. I invited her to come and participate in a senior event at the multipurpose facility where I serve as an instructor. Not only did she graciously agree, but she prepared for the role I needed her to portray, the legendary Judy Garland. She caught my vision and ran with it. Her rendition of Over the Rainbow was flawless! It was such a treat, a joy, and a pleasure to have her there in the lineup. Now that’s just the performance. The intangible traits that she displayed we’re remarkable. She was on time, well actually early. She mingled with the participants and was a pure joy and Delight to watch. I highly recommend Heather for any of your artistic needs. She definitely does deliver!”

“Heather is a true professional and a wonderful performer of the Gospel. Our church was blessed on Mother’s Day to have her come. She did everything that was expected of her and more. She has excellent communication skills as she kept the congregation captivated with her music, her singing. Her solo she gave on this day had all in tears of joy including me. She believes in what she does and she has the support of her Pastor/husband in her ministry. God has gifted her and anyone who works with her will see that immediately. Thank you Heather for blessing our church on Mother’s day 2019.”

“Heather Petero is one of the only coaches in the country I trust with my voice. Every time I go to Heather I am in the hands of a highly educated and experienced musician and vocalist who tells me what I need to hear in order to sing effectively and safely throughout my career. She is well versed in multiple genres, and challenges me to do my best in each style. As a professional vocalist and musical theatre performing artist, I call Heather when I have a big audition coming up because I know she will encourage my best vocal choices while gently yet precisely giving me the coaching I need. She is very specific and I appreciate that about her! Bottom line: Heather has the credentials, standards, work ethic, and soul of a vocal coach. I recommend Heather Petero to anyone, no matter they be a beginner or a veteran professional vocalist.”

“I had the pleasure of participating in Heather Petero’s 20th annual student recital as a member of her Tin Roof Band.  All I can say is wow!

This was truly a 1st class event.   Heather’s attention to detail to ensure this would be a memorable event for each of her student’s was fantastic.   Her registration table was artfully decorated complete with festive balloons in the foyer.  The recital hall was transformed into a highly professional stage set complete with curtains, lighting and original art.

The audience experienced a pleasant surprise when Emcee Dravius Dawkins dazzled them with his rendition of “Fly Me To The Moon”.  This was performed with the Heather’s Tin Roof Band, consisting of top-tier professional musicians who delight audiences all across Atlanta. Vocalists & instrumentalists experienced the thrill of performing their recital piece also with the Tin Roof Band, giving them the added experience of performing with a live band.

Heather’s award ceremony was very well planned and executed.   Students and parents alike were highly inspired by the awards given out.

The event concluded with a fully catered meal complete with the sounds of from Emcee Dravius’ playlist in the background.

I have attended and/or participated in many music recitals over the years.   The bar set by Heather Petero is in the clouds, and is unquestionably worthy of emulation.”

An outstanding blend of musicianship and showmanship. The Tin Roof Band delighted the crowd at New Hope Christian Church’s Annual Christmas Banquet with approximately 30-45 minutes of seasonal music, opportunities for us to participate, and we were treated to two original compositions from Heather Petero. It is so refreshing to see a group so locked in together, not only musically, but spiritually as well. Thank You So Very Much The Tin Roof Band. We will not be strangers!!

It was such a blessing for you to come and lead evening worship in Chapel Hill UMC for our 5th Sunday evening outreach event.    Your group is top notch, clearly professional and gifted musicians.  You all offer a genuine testimony of your love of God and express a real joy in musical worship.    It is clear that your group appreciates and supports one another as you work together engaging hearts, minds and voices of the church with yours.   In our event, the audience was involved in sharing in the offering of our personal expressions of love to God in the music.

Thank you again for bringing your group.
